As part of an extended social media advertising campaign for BIRT, two extra BIRT visual report items—the Rotated Text component and the DotBar component—have been released for public use. These two components are added in as additional plugins to BIRT, and provide user with the ability to use these components right from the report palette in BIRT reports. This showcases BIRT's ability to be extended in the designer and at runtime.
