The .NET class libraries provide no directly comparable classes for those included in the javax.sql package. Connnection pooling and transaction functionality are incorporated into the ADO.NET Data Provider classes contained in the System.Data namespace. The Java RowSet classes have no directly equivalent .NET classes, although the System.Data.DataSet class provides some comparable functionality. Consult Chapter 16 for full details.
