Determining Training Procedures

Large-scale cloud application, to be successful, will often require user training before, during, and after the cloud integration. Again, for SaaS solutions, the cloud-service provider will normally provide user training. Depending on the application’s processing, the company may need to augment the training with its own in-house instruction. As you evaluate cloud-based solutions, you should review the system and application documentation as well as the availability of training types (on-ground, online, and on-demand) and costs. Managers must plan for and budget for system training. The cloud-provider SLA should clearly define the training needs, processes, and costs.
