About the Author

Anthony Hopper has worked in the healthcare industry for over a decade and has spent time with both small organizations and hospital systems. He has held several different positions at these companies, including analyst and frontline management-related jobs. He also has experience in health policy via his internship with the Center for Studying Health System Change.

For the last four years, Anthony has worked at ECPI University’s Emerywood campus, located in Richmond, Virginia. He currently teaches healthcare administration classes and helps the institution to design new courses, identify and secure internship sites, and locate potential employment opportunities for graduates of the healthcare administration program.

Within the last few years, Anthony co-authored a peer-reviewed article, served as a guest lecturer for executive MBA students, and wrote Using Data Management Techniques to Modernize Healthcare, which was published by CRC Press in 2015. He has an M.A. in English from the University of Virginia and an M.S. in Health Systems Administration from Georgetown University.
