In this chapter, we learned about Python scripts for handling files and directories. We also learned how to use the os module to work with directories. We learned how to copy, move, rename, and delete files and directories. We also learned about the pandas module in Python, which is used in comparing and merging data. We learned about creating tar files and reading the contents of tar files using the tarfile module. We also did pattern matching while searching files and directories.
