This book finally came together during the month of August, 2017. Between us, we travelled to Forres, Farletter, Findhorn, Orkney, Skye, Motherwell, Barcelona, Guatemala, Panama, The Andes, and even Easter Island. These unique places reminded us where we come from and where we are going. The people we interacted with, either as our executive students, friends, colleagues, or casual acquaintances along the way, are as much part of the story, as anything else.
As ever, the geographical journey is made memorable by the relational one. Our sincere thanks to Gordon Hush and all the team at the Highlands and Islands creative campus of the Glasgow School of Art, as well as all the team at Soho House Barcelona, for providing an inspiring writing base, and for Sonia Alvarez for keeping the sanity, and wine flowing, in Vallvidrera.
