There was too much going on in 2008 and too many great cartoons about the presidential election. We just couldn’t fit it all into this book – so we came out with two books this year!

Our BIG Book of Campaign 2008 Political Cartoons is volume two of this Best Political Cartoons of the Year book. None of the cartoons in the two books are duplicated, and having a book entirely dedicated to the marathon presidential campaign allowed us to better cover the issues that consumed us in this news-packed year.

We have 3:00 a.m. phone calls, Hillary and Bill Clinton, Sarah Palin, Obama’s crazy preacher Jeremiah Wright, mudslinging, conventions, Oprah Winfrey, McCain’s countless houses, the crowd of candidates in the primaries – all topics that dominated the news, but we couldn’t find enough space in this book.

Every true cartoon wonk will have to have both books, or history will be incomplete.
