Finding and Replacing Text

Often when creating a presentation you need to change every instance of a word or phrase. For example, your company might change the name of a product under development. In that case, manually finding and editing each instance can be time consuming. Use the Find and Replace feature to easily find every instance and change them all instantly or one by one.

Find and Replace Text

  1. Click the Home tab.

  2. Click the Find button.

  3. Enter a word or phrase you want to find and change.

Tip

Use the Match Case and Find Whole Words Only checkboxes in the Find and Replace dialog box to narrow your search. If, for instance, you want to find the word Bell (a last name) and you don’t want lowercase instances of the word bell or words such as bellow, you could use both of these qualifiers for your find and replace operation.
