In this book, we learned that lean product management is about empowering teams to collaborate on business outcomes, while consistently tracking progress made toward desired outcomes. It can enable teams to look at an end-to-end product experience by defining the Impact Driven product. When we lack an understanding about our core company DNA and are unable to visualize what success means for us, we may end up building honeycombs for ants! Empowered teams own execution and strategy. Impact Driven products are delivered best by teams that understand internal motivations and their core business drivers are aware of internal and external constraints that influence their strategy, and then find the smartest way to deliver an end-to-end satisfying product experience to their customers.
