The first thing we need to do is create a new project. Remember, we said that all microservices are created as a Console App (.NET Framework). To create this project, we simply select Add New Project from the Visual Studio File menu and are prompted with the following screen. Next, we select Console App (.NET Framework), as shown in the following screenshot. We will select the .NET Framework 4.7.1 (used in all microservices), name our microservice Memory Microservice, and click OK:
