After installing the Internet of Things module, a new IoT menu will be displayed whereby you can connect your IoT Box with Odoo. In our recipe, we first used the automatic method to connect the IoT Box. This method will scan your local IP range to find a possible IoT Box. If any IoT Box is found, Odoo will add its entry as an IoT Box. Note that if you have multiple IoT Boxes in the network, this method will add all of them. If the IoT Box is already connected, Odoo will not add the IoT Box again.
The second method is the manual one. This method is useful when you have multiple IoT Boxes in the network and you just want to add some of them. In this method, you have to grab a token from the IoT Box popup. Then you need to open the IoT Box IP and add the token into the configuration. This will add the IoT Box into your Odoo instance.
