About the Authors

Meena S. Wilson is a senior enterprise associate at CCL and author of Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders Today: Insights from Corporate India (Wiley, 2010), which is based on in-depth interviews with over a hundred senior executives from eight global Indian companies.

A dedicated and versatile professional, Meena has led several significant start-ups during her 20 years at CCL. She opened the APAC campus in Singapore as interim managing director (2003) and later launched a Singapore-based research, innovation, and product development unit (2006). Meena also served as principal investigator for the Lessons of Experience-Asia project, managing cross-organizational teams in India, Singapore, and China (2009). She is now based in Gurgaon and Jamshedpur with responsibilities for developing regionally useful products, services, and client solutions.

Meena is committed to promoting cutting-edge leadership-development practices, and she continues her research on accelerating top-talent development, advancing women’s careers, and improving cross-cultural effectiveness.

N. Anand Chandraseker is a senior research faculty member at CCL and is a lead developer of the Leadership Gap Indicator assessment, which provides organizations with a tool for evaluating managers’ opinions about development needs.

Presently based in Singapore, Anand combines the rigor of academia with a practical approach to research and then translates the resulting knowledge into solutions that provide sustained impact on individuals, businesses, and the world. Anand has authored peer-reviewed academic journals, book chapters, research reports, white papers, and newspaper articles. His research interests lie at the intersection of three broad domains: leadership development, positive psychology, and Indian psychology. His current research is aimed at understanding the relationship of generosity and leadership.
