The VNet-to-VNet (VPN gateway) connection is the oldest offer in the field of internal connectivity. A separate subnet with an installed VPN gateway is set up in each VNet you want to connect. An IPsec/IKE tunnel can then be provided as a secure line between these VPN gateways.
I have two pieces of important information:
- Data traffic via the VPN gateway is limited according to the selected service level
- The virtual networks may be in the same or different regions and may come from the same or different subscriptions
