This is a very interesting kit. It isn’t particularly
complex to assemble, just a fair amount of
standard through-hole soldering, as well as a
few screws. However, what you accomplish with
the build is a fully functional cell phone that
also acts as a programmable platform for apps
and games.
You might be picturing a modern smartphone
with a high resolution display, but this is closer
to a GameBoy color than an iPhone. That’s not
a bad thing though. The tactile feeling of the
phone in your hand and the solid click of the
buttons along with the low resolution graphics
