Summary

Intrusion detection systems offer an additional level of security for your wireless-enabled network. In this chapter, we provided an overview of IDSs, including their strengths and weaknesses. In addition, we revealed a novel approach to the evaluation and implementation IDS technology in your network. Finally, we took an advanced look at future technologies in IDSs.
