In Part 1 of the book I defined the concept of the autonomous enterprise, and gave an overview of the AI-powered technologies that are making it possible and the importance of the technologies’ role in business innovation and efficiency. In Part 2, I provided a number of case studies to show examples of how AI can be applied in practice, be it in business or in healthcare, to provide both automation and augmentation as a decision-support tool. In Part 3, I focus on the concept of the autonomous enterprise, how we will get there, the enablers and what every organisation needs to consider and do as it journeys towards it.
