CHERRY LIMEADE SMOOTHIE

TIME: 5 MINUTES, PLUS 3 HOURS TO SOAK

MAKES: 3 CUPS (710ML)

A CBD-infused twist on the classic flavor combination of cherry and lime, this effervescent smoothie is the perfect refresher for muscle pain. Enjoy ice-cold. Frozen cherries, pre-pitted, work best in this recipe.


12 cup (120g) raw cashews

112 cups (360ml) cold, sparkling water

2 servings of CBD oil, but no more than 1 tsp (5ml) total

112 cups (200g) frozen, pitted cherries

juice of 1 lime

honey or other sweetener, to taste

1. Place the cashews in a medium bowl. Add water to cover cashews by at least 1 inch (2.5cm) and let soak for at least 3 hours. Drain.

2. In a blender, combine the sparkling water, soaked cashews, and CBD oil and blend thoroughly until milklike and frothy.

3. Add the frozen cherries and lime juice, and blend again until smooth. Taste and add sweetener if desired, and blend to combine. Serve immediately in chilled glasses.
