Valuation is a crucial topic for investment banking interview preparation. If a technical question is asked in a first-round interview, it is very likely that the technical question will center on valuation. You may simply be asked to explain various valuation concepts. Or you may be given an actual case study to perform on paper or in Excel. So it's important not only to understand valuation concepts but to be able to interpret concepts for various technical analyses. We will cover all variations after the following overview.
