You have set the first stepping stone to climb to more sophisticated image processing tasks. The rest of the chapters will guide you through some more complex image processing that MATLAB offers and will then move on to video processing. Depending on your needs, you will either be able to use it as a quick reference for any of the techniques it covers, or you can read through the chapters in a sequential order, as you would do in a Media Processing course.
