This book is dedicated in memory of my grandmothers and for their impact on my life and art. My maternal grandmother helped support me through graduate school, wrote letters of encouragement, and spread light to us grandchildren through her laughter. When I remember my paternal grandmother, I think about her warmth, appreciation for beauty, and love for color. She passed away during the writing of this book.
