Anna Sokolova is an award-winning contemporary artist who loves to combine traditional and innovative approaches in art. She has received numerous industry awards, including winning the World Illustration Award for her signature Delft Blue series for Netflix. Esteemed collaborations include Tombow, Wired magazine, and Maison Margiela, among others.
Anna’s work combines beautifully drawn, almost idyllic imagery with a slightly visible darker undertone. The intriguing choice of subject matter and modern Delft Blue style resulted in a collaboration with John Galliano in the film A Folk Horror Tale, featuring an artisanal collection for Paris Fashion Week.
Anna loves to share her knowledge by producing educational content for Skillshare, ImagineFX, and others. Her work is regularly featured in magazines and international exhibitions.
Born in St. Petersburg, Anna is inspired by Dostoevsky, symbolism, folk art, and Ballets Russes. She now lives in Berlin.
