Dr. Hui Shan Loh is currently a lecturer at Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). She received a BSc (Maritime Studies), MSc (Logistics) and a PhD degree in Maritime Studies from NTU in 2008, 2010 and 2015, respectively. Before joining SUSS, Hui Shan worked as Research Fellow at NTU, and Assistant Manager at The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.

Dr. Bimal Raj Regmi is currently working as governance specialist in International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD). He has more than 17 years of academic and professional experience in climate change and natural resource management. He has specific expertise on climate change adaptation governance issues specific to the understanding of agriculture and natural resource management. Mr. Apar Paudyal is currently working as a climate change program officer in Practical Action South Asia. Apar has more than eight years of experiences in environment and climate change. He is particularly interested in policy and practices of climate change adaptation and the cutting edge issues related to climate governance, financing, and technology transfer. Dr. rer. nat. Claus-Peter Rückemann is a senior lecturer and researcher at the Leibniz Universität Hannover and the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (WWU), Germany. He holds a university-diploma degree in geophysics and a doctorate degree for natural sciences in geoinformatics, informatics, and geosciences from the faculty of mathematical and natural sciences, WWU. Dr. Rückemann teaches information science, security, and computing at the University of Hannover. He studied geophysics, theoretical and applied physics, mathematics, computer science, and archaeology. He is the chair of the board on Advanced Computing and Emerging Technologies and the chair of the Symposia Board of the International Academy, Research, and Industry Association (IARIA), general chair of the International Conference on Advanced Communications and Computation (INFOCOMP), head of research of the LX Foundation, director of the GEXI Consortium. Dr. Rückemann serves as member and chair of more than 20 international boards and committees, spanning Northern America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Dr. Rückemann is the author of numerous scientific publications awarded with more than a dozen international best paper awards and has been distinguished with the Grade IARIA Fellow for his scientific research on the state of the art improvement in HPC, information systems, distributed computing, and international collaboration.

Dr Shivani Raswan Pathania received her doctorate of philosophy (PhD) (international law) from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab.

Dr. Olivia Tan Swee Leng was a legal counsel of Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA) and she was in-charge of the domain name dispute resolution, for both.com from Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre (ADNDRC), .my cases at KLRCA and mediation/arbitration case management. She obtained her bachelor of law degree with honors at University of London (UK) (1993), completed her CLP in the year 1996, master at law at the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in the year 2002 and PhD (law) at the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in the year 2014. She was the book prize winner for civil procedure paper and general paper awarded by the Certificate of Legal Practice Board (Malaysia) in the Year 1996. She practiced as an advocate and solicitor in Malaysia in the area of corporate litigation, intellectual property (trademark), banking and conveyancing. Currently, Dr. Olivia is a lecturer and deputy director for Collaboration and Innovation (CIC) at Multimedia University, Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

Dr. Misa Aoki is currently an assistant professor of Nara Women’s University Faculty of Human Life and Environment, Nara, Japan. She works on the issues relevant to behavioral changes of small-household farmers due to national or local government policies in Japan and other Asian countries. Specifically, she identified causes for agriculture policies and sustainable agriculture policies from the viewpoint of micro economics. In addition, she studies consumers’ behavior toward environmentally friendly farm crops at farmers’ market in Japan. She obtained her master’s degree from Kyoto University Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies in 2010 and PhD from Nara Women’s University Graduate School of Humanities and Sciences in 2015.

Dr. Gamini Herath is professor of economics at the School of Business, Monash University Malaysia. He is also the director of the Social and Economic Transformation in Asia (SETA) research platform. His principal research interests are in environmental economics, institutional change, globalization, and sustainable development in Asia. He has published nearly 70 research papers in highly ranked journals including the American Journal of Agricultural Economics (A*), Journal of Development Studies (A), Ecological Economics (A*), Annals of Tourism Research (A*), Journal of Environmental Management (A), Asian Survey (A), Oxford Agrarian Studies, Journal of Hydrology (A*), Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics (A), and Australian Journal of Environmental Management. He has edited six books and the three most recent books are Multi-criteria Decision Analysis in Environmental Management with Professor Tony Prato, Missouri University, USA, Child Labour in South Asia with Associate Professor Kishor Sharma of Charles Sturt University, NSW Australia, and Institutional Approach to Water Resources Management published by Nova Publishers, New York. The first two books were published by Ashgate Publishing, UK. Besides, he had published 16 book chapters. Professor Gamini Herath has received close to RM 6 million in research grants in the past. He has refereed articles for many leading journals such as Ecological Economics, Ecological Modeling, Tourism Economics, Australian Journal of Environmental Management, Economic Record, Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics, and other recognized journals in environmental management. He has been a PhD examiner for La Trobe University, Charles Sturt University, Victoria University, Monash University, Sydney University, RMIT and Griffith University, and the Asian Institute of Technology. Bangkok. He was a visiting professor at University of Montana, USA (1999), Missouri University USA (2004, 2008) and a visiting Scholar to the International Food Policy Research Institute, Washington DC (2002). Prior to joining Monash University Professor Gamini Herath worked at Deakin University and Las Trobe University Australia for nearly 17 years.
