Configuring Mobile Access

Each site collection created in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 can be accessed from a mobile device such as a PDA or SmartPhone.

Accessing the site from a mobile device displays site lists and document libraries in a simpler format than the rich site format typical of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server. Any site list is available in this format, which takes the list to its most basic elements.

To access a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 site from your mobile device, simply append /m to the URL you would ordinarily enter in the browser.
