The firewall is not enabled by default after being initiated. To enable it, we have to run the following command on the xterm of controller 0:

# curl -X PUT http://localhost:8080/firewall/module/enable/0000000000000001

The status of the firewall can be checked using the following command:

# curl http://localhost:8080/firewall/module/status
