STEPS TO BECOMING LEADERSHIP FIT

In Part I, we learned the basic concepts—the foundation—behind peak leadership fitness. That was the stuff we have to know. In Part II, the race is on. Here we learn the stuff we need to do. This section discusses the actions that are essential to reach that desired peak. We’ll learn about the importance of frequent and honest personal measurement, how to build our core skill inventory, how to build strength and flexibility through constant practice, and how to build endurance in the face of many obstacles, both personal and organizational.
