Web Application Security

THE WEB APPLICATION SECURITY CONSORTIUM (WASC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the best practices of web application security. The participants are both experts and beginning students of application security—individuals, academic institutions, and corporations from all over the world. It is important to realize that anyone can participate and cooperate with WASC.

It is important when managing web applications and services to understand their weaknesses and how they can be exploited. The function of WASC is to help identify these weaknesses and best practices for mitigating these threats.
