First published in Esquire Magazine’s 1949 edition of “Handbook for Hosts,” this delicious drink is named after the modern method of delivery by air—yet no one is quite sure where this association came from. A truly accessible cocktail, the rum and lime are softened by the citrusy orange and the sweetness of the honey.
Skip the rum for a delicious, low-alcohol alternative.
