Cores

This option is to define the number of cores the VM can use. It is good practice to start a VM with a smaller number of cores and then increase them as needed, depending on load. Assigning a large number of cores to a VM will cause unnecessary stress on the available resources in the node. Usually, VMs can provide good performance with two or four cores unless it is a high-demand VM, such as a remote desktop server or SQL/Exchange server.
