Message templates are another component of Action Sequence that can be used to read files such as XML and HTML and combine them with the content generated by other components.
Let's take a look at an example showing an animated SVG from an HTML file:
- Extract the contents of the
2159OS_chapter2.zipfile into[BISERVER]/pentaho-solutions. - Log in to PUC.
- In the Tools menu, select Refresh, and click on Repository Cache. The Chapter 2 menu will show up in the Browse pane.
- In the Chapter 2 menu, double-click on Animated Star.
A page with an animated star image appears. It will look like the one in the following screenshot:
