Acknowledgments

I want to genuinely thank my editing team at Wiley for their guidance and inspiration throughout this entire creative process. I would also like to give special thanks to Wiley Senior Vice President and Executive Publisher Matt Holt for seeing something in me that I didn't see in myself. Having never written a book before, my trepidation was obvious, but Matt had unwavering faith in me and trusted that I would deliver a product we could all be proud of.

To all three of my children, Roman, India, and Enzo. Thank you for supporting me and for genuinely being interested in my progression as I worked my way through the challenge of writing this. If you weren't interested, you faked it really, really well. Truthfully, you were an integral part of this book. Think about it, it would've been so weird to write a book about parenting if I didn't have children. In all honesty, you were my inspiration for doing this the right way, and hopefully in doing so, I made you proud. I love the three of you more than you'll ever know.

Finally, the one person who put up with the most throughout the duration of the writing of this book was my soulmate, Carolina. Any time she would walk within a 20-foot radius of me while I was writing, she knew she was about to get bombarded with questions like, “Babe, can I read this to you?” “Boo, does this make sense?” Every time I would doubt myself, you patiently and lovingly got me back on track with your belief in me. Thank you, not only for your unwavering support and always loving me unconditionally but also for loving me enough to give me honest notes and ideas throughout this process. I know for a fact that I could not have completed this book without you by my side. I love you eternally with all that I am. You are my one, only, and forever muse.
