Emilio Galli Zugaro is Chairman of Methodos S.p.A. Milan. He teaches communications and crisis communication at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich as well as courses at the European School of Management and Technology in Berlin on communicative leadership. He works as executive coach for top managers and entrepreneurs and as a mentor at the Entrepreneurship Center, München. He is Senior Advisor of FTI Consulting, Frankfurt. He has worked in communications functions in public service in Rome, and as a journalist for Fortune, Wirtschaftswoche, l’Indipendente, Italia Oggi, Il Giornale, Finanz und Wirtschaft, The European and others. From 1992 to 2015 he was the Head of Group Communications of Allianz SE. He is a member of Arthur Page Society.
Galli Zugaro is passionate about developing leaders, particularly those who are technical experts but need support with the people side of their role. He is seen as a thought leader in the area of communicative leadership, which focuses on enabling and empowering leaders and employees. His coaching style has been described as results-focused and honest, with a strong focus on listening, an understanding of the complexities of international operations and, especially, diversity and culture-related differences. His experience of businesses in Italy, Germany and USA is recognised as an important anchor for allowing him to address multicultural issues. He is not afraid to speak the unspoken and has created significant impact for senior leaders. He coaches in English, German and Italian, the latter his native tongue. He is also fluent in French.
Clementina Galli Zugaro, Emilio’s millennial daughter, has an educational background in psychology and organisational psychology, having always been curious about people. Her work experiences in behavioural finance, consulting and in training and workshop co-facilitation attest to her ambition to understand people’s motivations, the drivers of their actions and the interaction dynamics among them in order to improve performance and outcomes for all stakeholders.
