*Companies’ CSR practices, especially external ones, have a significant positive influence on employees’ organizational commitment (Brammer, Millington, and Rayton 2007); 57 percent of employees say their company’s CSR reputation is a factor in retaining them (Towers Perrin Global Workforce Study 2007–2008); 40 percent of MBA graduates rated CSR as an “extremely” or “very” important company reputation measure when job hunting (Hill and Knowlton 2008); and 92 percent of students and entry-level hires seek an environmentally friendly company (Monster.com 2007).
