In this chapter, we have added the third layer—the data access layer—to RealNorthwindService. We have also added exception handling to the service we have finished implementing the three-layered WCF service, according to the WCF service development best practices.
In the next three chapters, we will learn LINQ and Entity Framework, and then apply LINQ to Entities to our WCF service.
