Ashish Pachory is an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) consultant and leadership guide. In his last appointment, he was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the telecom services venture of the Tata group in India. Before joining Tata in 2011, Ashish worked on the other side of the IT/Telecom value chain, in business, operations, and delivery management functions with globally renowned companies like Nokia, Amdocs, Flextronics, Lucent (Bell-Labs), Hughes, and Wipro.
Ashish’s work on measuring the business value of IT was recognized among the top IT innovations in 2013 by DynamicCIO (Achievers series). He was conferred Telecom Icon 2013 by Centre of Recognition and Excellence (CORE), and recognized as one of India’s most influential Technology Leaders (Economic Times). Also, in 2015, he was recognized among the top 25 global business CIOs by iCMG.
As a thought leader on technology trends and their adoption for business, he has been active as a speaker and panelist at industry forums and has contributed several thought-provoking articles and interviews in various industry and general publications, including the Economic Times, The Business Standard, Information Week, Voice and Data and CIO.com.
Ashish is a Telecommunications engineer and lives in Gurgaon (INDIA) with his wife, Seema. His interests include astronomy, reading, cryptic crosswords, and cricket.
