In this section, we will select the virtual hardware to use for our virtual server. AWS provides a number of options best described in their documentation at https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/instance-types/. We will talk in more detail about instance types in Chapter 5, Scaling Your Infrastructure.

For now, we will select the t2.micro instance type as it is eligible for the AWS free usage tier.
