Dedication

For Dr. Betty Yung

This is really Betty’s book. She loved this project and wanted to take what we learned from the mountain of data we were given and turn it into a book to help others. Although she wrote some of the book proposal, and her words appear throughout a few chapters, she died before writing began in earnest. However, her passion for this project energized us all, even when she was not here with us.

And for all those who have lost loved ones to suicide whose stories remain untold.
