The optimized load is 100 times faster than the non-optimized load. This is because you do not perform any operations while loading the data. So, when there are no operations, Qlik can directly move the QVD data to the RAM, which makes it faster. There are a few operations that, when used on QVD, will be considered as the optimized load:

• Renaming of the field
• Use of existing functions with only one parameter

If you want to know if the QVD load is optimized or not, you should look at the Qlik script logs or you can check the script progress window (just like seen in the preceding both examples). In the preceding both examples, you can see the highlighted text from the progress window. It shows that the load is the optimized load.
