The Tk system contains extensive documentation. This section does not list all the documents but includes only the most useful ones.
Tk::UserGuide— More extensive introduction to the Tk system.
Tk::pack— Geometry manager that packs widgets as closely together as possible.
Tk::options— A list of options common to all widgets as well as functions you can call to manipulate them.
widget— The Tk widget demo, which shows you what almost all the Tk widgets look like.
Other demos— Distributed with the Tk source are a number of other demonstrations. Unfortunately, these are not installed when you install the Tk module, so if you want to a look at them, you’ll need to unpack the sources to the Tk module and look for things with the word “demo” in them.
http://tcl.activestate.com/— The official Tcl/Tk web site.
http://spectcl.sourceforge.net/— GUI builder for Perl/Tk. Unfortunately, this GUI builder limits you to the grid geometry manager.
