SHOW SOME ENTHUSIASM

Just as you enjoy working with someone who reacts with spontaneity, who bubbles, who shows pleasure in their work, so do the people you work with.

And enthusiasm, perhaps more than any other emotion, is contagious; the light you give off brightens others, the fire you set ignites others. Without it, dullness reigns.

Enthusiastic ideaists also create a mood that makes all things seem possible. Difficulties, objections, barriers, past failures, financing, regulations, defeatism, negativism — enthusiasm sweeps them all aside.

And when all things seem possible, they are possible.

That is why Emerson said, “Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.”
