PLAY THE FOOL

Ask dumb questions. Say stupid things. Be silly. Be absurd. Be illogical. Be impractical. Defend untenable positions. Challenge assumptions. Break the rules. Act like a child. Play. Take chances. Make mistakes.

When the people you work with see you doing these things, they won’t be afraid to do them either.

And unless they do them, they’ll never get the ideas they’re capable of.
