Mockito is an open source testing framework allowing programmers to create and test double objects (mock objects) in automated unit tests for test-driven development (TDD) or behavior-driven development (BDD). It is useful in testing cloud and CI environments without having dependency on the inaccessible framework or infrastructure resources.
