6. Repeat for all of your bottles and bicycle valves
(Figure

7. Test the bottles by hitting them with the fatter
ends of a pair of chopsticks, striking the sides
of the bottles near the base. For a more mellow
sound, wrap and knot some yarn around the
chopsticks (Figure

8. To mount your bottles, drill 30mm (1⁄")
diameter holes into the wooden plank, spaced
at least 5cm, or 2" apart (Figure

I also drilled a hole in the edge (Figure

rest the instrument on a cymbal stand or stake.
