Data lake is the popular way to store and analyze data as it has the promise of storing any data in a central location and serving multiple business needs. In this chapter, we looked at how the various services that Amazon has put together in AWS Data Lake solution truly accelerate the build-out of such a data lake. The AWS Data Lake comes packaged with a reference implementation and a complete web application for governing the metadata, thereby allowing data stewards to publish and data consumers to search and extract from the data lake. We also saw how QuickSight is a core component of this solution and provides insights into the data.

In the final chapter, I will review some exciting features coming with the QuickSight product that will make it easier for integration and adoption.
