QuickSight is a cloud-native business analytics service that is poised to disrupt the traditional BI tools and will empower users to explore and visualize data on their own, without the need for long IT cycles. QuickSight product features can be categorized under the following groups: easy visualization, wide data connectivity, visual data preparation, sharing and security. While QuickSight delivers on theses core feature sets, there are several feature gaps when compared to an enterprise product, primarily in regard to usability, integrations, and visualizations.
