As you must be aware by now, a successful VDI, or end-user computing project, is made up of multiple components, and its success comes down to delivering a good user experience. It's not just about whether the infrastructure is working or not. As such, it is important to have a well-defined methodology, and the tools to be able to adequately diagnose and fix issues within your environment. In this chapter, we are going to cover some of the troubleshooting techniques, and other methods for monitoring the end user experience within Horizon View.

Essentially, we are going to look at troubleshooting from two angles, reactive and proactive, covering the following topics:

• vRealize Operations for Horizon
• Liquidware Stratusphere UX

We are also going to use Liquidware Stratusphere UX to highlight some of the key elements to look at when troubleshooting and monitoring your environment.
