Generally good advice

Now that we've got you started by accessing Watson for the first time, defined the architecture used, and explained the key concepts and terms, here is some good advice to be used as we continue our journey.

Some basically overlooked advice is always to read the documentation! Seriously, until you become more comfortable with Watson, Show hints. IBM Watson does a nice job of pointing the way through the interface if you let it. To show the hints, click on Show hints:

Before going much further, it is a very good idea to establish yourself within the IBM Watson community. You already have a user ID (used when you registered), so log in and explore. Among many other reasons, this is where you will be able to find plenty of product support. As said by them:

"When you need assistance to understand a particular feature, have encountered a technical issue, or have an issue with your log in or IBM ID, here are some places to find answers and get help…" – IBM Watson Support.
