INTRODUCTION

Five years ago, I struggled with stress and anxiety in my corporate job as an engineer. It felt like I had no life outside my cubicle, and I wanted to try something new and break free from my everyday routine. This kick-started my journey with brush calligraphy.

I began practicing calligraphy every night after work until I fell in love with it. Aside from the joy and calmness that calligraphy brought me, my new hobby also helped me find purpose in life.

This book is designed to help beginners get started with lettering without feeling intimidated. I’ll show you how simple and easy it can be by providing step-by-step explanations for creating stunning lettering pieces.

Brush lettering has turned my unspoken misery into victory. It led me to finding my purpose and true calling: to be creative and to be an artist.
