As you have seen in this chapter, with Azure Stack, you can run the same Azure technology from Microsoft public Azure in your data center. This gives you a way to run services on- premises while using the same administration and operation concepts from public Azure. Although Azure Stack has fewer services than public Azure, it is a good entry point to bringing the cloud on-premises. As Azure Stack is an agile product, you will get updates and/or new features each month. Regarding connecting to public Azure, Azure Stack provides two different connection designs: disconnected or connected. As a result, there is nearly no design left where it does not fit.
