window

An Oracle scheduler object stored in the SYS schema that defines a schedule, a time duration, and a resource plan. When a window is opened, it switches the resource plan for the duration of the window.

window group

A logical grouping of individual scheduler window objects used to simplify the management of the objects.

window logs

Tables populated by the scheduler that maintain information about window actions.
