Part III
Making the Training Sparkle

In this third and final part of our book we look at some of the tricks of the trade - the behaviours that all trainers have in their 'toolkit' - and see how they can be applied and refined to suit international training participants.

First, in Chapter 14, we examine how participants learn from each other and the impacts of language and culture. Next, in Chapter 15, we concern ourselves specifically with the use of language, particularly English, and how it needs to be adapted to facilitate proper communication. Interacting with participants is a key dynamic in training courses, which is discussed in Chapter 16. In Chapter 17 we focus on ourselves, the trainers, and how we should position ourselves and adapt our behaviours when faced with a group of international managers. Finally, in Chapter 18, we return to our SUCCESS methodology and look at some of the essential behaviours to implement before, during and after the training.
